The beautiful Benz family bring the fun in the Living In Colour, Rainbow Roads, A Painted Village, Nubian Nights and Nubian Wonderland prints inspired by Egyptian Nubian villages.
Oli and Sasha Benz, and their children; Rhythm, Haze and Baybi thrive on having adventures and being creative. Originally from Australia, they now have a home in Montauk, New York.
Freelance fashion stylist Sasha Benz has a client list that includes Cate Blanchett, Kylie Minogue, Ruby Rose and Michael Bublé, but still found time to work alongside photographers Annie Liebovitz on a cover shoot for Vanity Fair and Ellen Von Unworth at Vs. Magazine, among others.
Seeking, however, to deconstruct assumptions about the industry, she founded All My Friends Are Models, a lifestyle blog that endeavours to look beyond glamorous fashion façades, focusing on details that are not always covered in traditional publications.
Sasha is also the Creative Director at The Surf Lodge in Montauk, and with husband Oli, owns two clothing boutiques Wyld Blue and Wyld Black.
Sasha’s husband, Oliver Benz, lives by the mantra: beach by day, music by night. Growing up in Queensland, he began playing with the Aussie band The Fix in his late teens when he was spotted by a modelling agency.
Oli’s career soon took off as a model, and he rose to prominence in ad campaigns including Bonds, Ed Hardy, V energy drink and Von Zipper.
With his passion for music always being a focus, a career as a DJ followed soon after. Oliver now enjoys being behind the decks at major venues across New York, Los Angeles and Australia.
The couple confess that though their careers often mean late nights or global travel, many happy evenings are spent having a take-away meal at home with the kids.
We had such a blast playing with the Benz family, who embody all the vibrancy and verve of our Nubian Nirvana creations.
