No one does swim wear like Brooks Nader.
The supermodel turned Manhattan into her runway in resort and ready to wear looks from our Egypt-inspired collection.
From humble beginnings in Louisiana, Brooks began her adult life studying finance at Tulane University, where she also volunteered as a tutor. Fate took a turn, though, and while interning in New York, she was scouted by a modelling agency.
Brooks’s career instantly skyrocketed, seeing her secure contracts with Elle and GRAZIA, and appearing in campaigns for La Perla, Laura Mercier, Clarins, and Covergirl within a year.
When Sports Illustrated were looking for the latest cover girl for their iconic Swimsuit issue back in 2018, Brooks was told she was “too short, too this or that” and wasn’t likely to fit the mould.
Undeterred, she queued for hours at the casting call, eventually finding herself in front of Christie Brinkley who said Brooks was her "favourite" choice.
Five Swimsuit covers later, Brooks is now a Sports Illustrated Legend, appearing on the cover of the magazine’s prestigious 60th anniversary edition.
Here at CAMILLA, we are inspired by the Brooks’s resilience and feel blessed to have her at the forefront of our House Of The Sun campaign.
