Let's Get Physical

A workout you can do from the comfort of your own home (dressing up is advised). If you don’t have dumbbells you can use a can of beans or a litre bottle of water.

 

We’re doing three rounds of the circuit.

Each move will be done for 20 seconds with a 10 second break.

PUSH - UPS
You can either do your push-up on your knees, where you need to pull in the belly and open up the chest. Or you can do yours on your feet, where you lift the hips and lock the shape in, squeeze through your calves and quads and open up your chest.
 

 

SQUAT JUMPS

Begin in the squat position with your hips back and arms out in front of you. Shoot up using your legs to drive the jump, and then land nice and soft, with your bum reaching all the way to the ground.

 

MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
Begin in a plank position with your shoulders over wrists, then drive each knee through to the opposite elbow, one after the other.

BICYCLE
Start by lying on your back and bring your fingers at your temples with your elbows out. Move each elbow to the opposite hip in rotation. If you want to really work the obliques, think shoulder to hip.

PLANK WITH HIP TOUCH

Hold the plank position and tighten your core. Begin to reach each hand to touch the opposite hip, one at a time. Step your feet out a little wider to maintain balance.

 

BURPEE

You can go two ways; Hands down, jump your feet out, jump your feet in, then jump up with your hands in the air; or hands down, jump the feet out and lower your whole body to the ground, push your whole body back up, jump in the feet then jump in the air with your hands up.
