Designed in Australia, each CAMILLA creation is a bespoke wearable artwork that's brought to life by our team of in-house artisans who intricately hand illustrate or hand paint our renowned prints.

It was during Camilla's travels through India that she met the businessman, Jaggi, who would bring her designs to life. She knew that she had a story to tell the world through her unique and vibrant prints, and wanted to ensure her creations were brought to life with authenticity, integrity and craftsmanship.
In an ode to Jaggi and his ever-growing team, our signature CAMILLA totem, the Jaggi Head, was created.
Silk is at the core of all our collections. It's biodegradable, uses less water, chemicals and energy to produce than most other fashion fibres, and importantly, it prints beautifully. Considered a more sustainable fibre, silk is beautiful to wear; it breathes, it floats and feels like pure luxury on the body.

Nearly all our swimwear is lovingly handcrafted using Econyl®, a sustainable premium Italian textile, recycled from regenerated materials salvaged from our oceans. Its beauty lies in its ability to be recycled, remoulded and ultimately reused time and time again. An infinitely recyclable product that keeps our planet looking beautiful, while opening the door to a circular fashion sphere.
Our mens boardshorts are all made from a polyester that is made from post-consumer waste, PET bottles predominantly, a textile approved by the Global Recycled Standard. Our priority with synthetic fibres is that wherever possible we choose regenerated or recycled versions. Recycled nylon and polyester are well embedded into our kids, mens and womens swimwear.
Natural fibres make up over 80% of our fibre usage. Silk will always be our main love, but there are many other beautiful fibres we love to explore. We measure and analyse our fabric and material usage to guide us to prioritise the fabrics that have the lowest impact on the planet and people.
We know that choosing organic cotton is a more sustainable solution, it is better on the soil, waterways and the farmers. We also love using linen, its breathable, durable, soft against the body, and prints beautifully. It is a natural renewable and biodegradable fibre we look forward to using more and more.
Twice a year, Camilla Franks heads off on a new global adventure to seek out inspiration for her next limited edition collection, immersing herself completely in each new place and in all its expressions: textiles, music, architecture, art, food, culture and daily life.

This year the brand is celebrating its 20 year anniversary, so thank you to our treasured CAMILLA family who have joined us on this magical journey. More adventures are ahead!
